Lloyd and Doug.jpeg

Lloyd Loring on recorder and Doug Lent on trombone, probably during one of the spontaneous jam sessions that would break out on Thanksgiving. This might have been the very spirited version of “When the Saints Go Marching In” that also involved kazoos, tambourine, and call-and-response vocals.

Bulletin Board HOME

As long as I can remember, my Aunt Pat and Uncle Doug had a bulletin board in their kitchen, with ever-increasingly deep layers of photos, cartoons, badges, and more. I loved to check out the new additions and revisit the beloved old postings. The board was carefully disassembled after Pat moved, and I have done my best to rebuild it here.
